Jewellery Making

The Jewellery Making group now meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at PDA shop, Cromford Road, Langley Mill. from 2.00-4.00 pm.  The contacts for the group are Val Beecham/Ali Paine on 01158 543 178. The group are now adding mixed crafts to the jewellery making.

This is only a small but enthusiastic group who have fun and laugh a lot.  It was one of the earliest groups to form.  The group share ideas and knowledge to make items for themselves mostly but also for presents. In the past a selection of items have been made like, necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, brooches, and used weaving looms with beads to make bracelets and chokers. They have have also learnt to repair jewellery. A lot of materials can be bought from the internet but they have also found that charity shops are a great source, where a bag of broken beads can be bought very cheaply. Photographs can be seen on the gallery.
New members would be made very welcome.
